The construction of this framework requires an integrative approach that probes more than one level of biological organization, including genetics, gene expression, enzyme activity, organelle function and behavior; a truly physiological genomics approach.
About the Connor Lab
Kwasi Connor joined the faculty of UC-Irvine in 2019 as a member of the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department. As one of few African American males holding a PhD in the discipline of Marine Biology, Dr. Connor spends a lot of time recruiting students with diverse backgrounds into the sciences. His research primarily focuses on the relationships between the environment and physiology using integrative approaches.
